trying to find information on Sydney Brown my Great Grandfather. He was born 9/12/1875 at 40 Moor St, Burton, Staffordshire. He married at the age of 28 to Elen Davis from Sparkhill in Birmingham. He worked as a tobacconist and Cathedral Lay person at Chester Cathedral and has resided at 45 Lache Park Aveune and at some point at St Martins Road in Chester. His father is William Brown who was an Army Troop Sgt Major with the 12th Royal lancers and 21st Hussars. He left service in 1864 having earned the crimean medal. He lived through the great exhibition but died at the early age of 43. Sidney Brown had two children Cyril and Doris and I have enough information from this point on. I am hoping to trace from my great grandfather up and any relatives that may have come from this that I don't have any information on.
