Trying to locate parents of William James Campbell born in Kilrea 1879 or a year either side. His parents were William Campbell and Mary Campbell nee Montgomery. The whole family left Ireland for Australia sometime around 1890-1900 I assume. Can anyone help with information on the parents maybe their marriage in Ireland which may have been between 1870-1879. I haven't been able to find them on shipping records, could it be likely they left from England rather than Ireland to go to Aust. They went to Tasmania where William (son) joined the Aust Military for the Boer War in 1901. Many thanks Kaye |
