Member Since: February 2005 Posts: 5 Send Message	Hi Julie, I don't want to get your hopes up as this is a long shot but Francis isn't a very common name and I happen to be descended from quite a lot of Francis Carters - the reason I thought there could be a link is that I have a large family and my ancestors siblings all seem to name their children after their ancestors so your Francis could be one which i don't have on my tree. My family now lives in West Yorkshire but were originally from Wolverhampton (at least back to 1790s), I'd be happy to share my tree with you so we can see if there is a link anywhere.
