I am trying to find relations of my Grandfather, Arthur Cartwright. I believe he was born around 1923 and died in 1977/8. He lived in Aberdare, Wales although I am not certain he was born there. He married Maisie Jenkins and they had 8 children, of which my father, David John Cartwright was one. I cannot seem to find any more information any further back than my Grandfather. Can anyone help?

Many thanks for the info. Anything else you could provide would be great. I tried searching for Elizabeth Yemm on the 1901 census on this site and came up with nothing! Where is this info from?

The census result is from ancestry the rest from the birth indexs and some from free bmd.It is well worth signing up to Ancestry as they have a lot of records to help you.
