Hi, I have an Elizabeth Cheers born 1830, she had 9 other siblings and her parents were: Joseph Cheers and Sarah Bird. I am looking for who she married the first time. They had 3 children: Henry, Mary and William Cheers. (I have certificates to prove William existed and a first hand account from a relative.) She went on to marry Andrew Lane. Andrew already had a child with a Women named Isabella Jones. William Cheers took on Andrews name later on...to become William Lane. If anyone can help me find out who her first husband (thats if they married) is I would greatly appreciate it. As I have the Bloodline from Elizabeth but not from this unknown husband, so my tree stops on that side. Thank you Rhiannon :) |

Hi Rhiannon, I have a lot of Cheers's in my tree, but the best I can do for you is a Joseph cheers born c1803 who could have been Elizabeth's father. I have no info for him other than birth details but the Cheers's seemed to have large families and call them all by the same names. It 's a problem trying to work out who belongs where!!! I will open my tree for you if you wish. Regards, Sue |

I don't quite understand, you say that her maiden name was Cheers but that she had 3 children by her first husband and they were named Cheers. Was she a Cheers who married a Cheers or were the 3 children illegitimate? |
