Ann & Jon from Lane End | Report | 24 Oct 2004 12:24 |
Charles Clark born c 1828 in the High Wycombe, Bucks, area, but not listed in All Saints Parish records. Married in Lane End, Bucks 23/10/1853, but the Church now in the village did not exist in 1828 when he was born. According to the 1881 census he was born in High Wycombe, but we know the family were in Lane End before this. It is known that his wife was Sophia Braisher came from Fingest, although Census states that she was born in Cadmore End. (next village to Lane End) We have searched surrouding villages without success to date, so information will be gratefully received. Ann and Jon Cloke |
