I am trying to trace my father's relatives. His mother was Doris Mable Clayton born in about 1897 in Yorks Leeds. Her parents were William (born c1863 in Lincs) and Alice Eliza (nee Carr, born c1875 in London). To my knowledge she had 3 brothers, William George born c1891 in London, Charles.S. born c1893 in London and Albert C. born c1895 in London. At the time of the 1901 census they were living in Manchester. William Clayton's profession was a shirt makers assistant. They also had a boarder called Christina Bodman. There could possibly be a connection to Fletcher, still in the Manchester area. Are there any Fletcher's that might have a link? Further info received William, Alice and William Junior lived in Clapton London in 1891. It is beleived that William George died in the war possibly in 1915. He was possibly married to a Daisy A Clayton of 14 Plymouth Road Bromley Kent. If there is anyone able to help even in a small way it would be great. Many thanks Karen
