I am trying to find anyone who has any connections to the Coe family who originate in and around the Marks Tey/Thornham/Colchester area of Essex. Do you have any of the following Coe's in your tree? Richard c1803 Walter c1837 Betsy c1850 Katherine c1850 John c1860 Kziah c1860 Elkalnah c1863 Richard 1865 Susan c1867 William c1881 Maud c1883 Daisy c1886 Ethel c1886 Edith c1887 Walter c1888 Margarte c1891 Eva c1893 Victor c1895 Oliver (Richard) c1897 Charles c1897 Dorothy 1901 There could well be many others, as they were a large family, and I have many partners and children missing from my tree. John Coe married Harriet Elizabeth Horn. He served on the railway at Marks Tey for 50 years and lived in a cottage by the station at Marks Tey. They were very well known in the area. Any information would be most appreciated. Many thanks! |
