Looking for info on Daniel Collier, born Throckley, Newcastle 1879. Very elusive!! All I have so far is one entry , in the 1901 census.

Thanks everyone - I saw the birth in Castle W, but wasn't sure where this was! Looks like it will be the right one.
Don't know what happened to his after 1901 though, no sign of death in England/Wales/Scotland/War Returns.
He is noted as 'married' in the 1901 census, but can find no marriage record. I know his wife remarried later and went on to have more children, but can't find his death recorded either (although I have no idea of dates). Possibly emigrated?
Was there any particular trends in emigration from that area in the 1900s?

Is there anyway to get copies of English birth certs online - or is the only way to pay £7 for the paper copy?

Thanks again everyone!
