Member Since: September 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	Searching for information on parents of John Coombes born 1834 in Kentisbeare. Joined Royal Artillery 1852 fought in Crimean War, married Sarah Pearson at Lenton 1875 whilst at Nottingham Barracks. Served in Coast Brigade around the South Coast, discharged 1861, killed in Horse and Cart accident 1875. Gives his father as William Coombes a Soldier when he married. Jean Dixon
