Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 1 Send Message	John Quaye, e-mail; ducatiman916 at warmmail . com My maternal grandmothers maiden name was Anne jane Corran, I have extensive family tree for the Corran family, I am trying to establish a connection with Alexander Corran, born Liverpool but lived in the Isle of Man prior to emigrating to Australia where he finished up as Mayor of Thursday Island in the Torres Strait. He was also the schollteacher there and published the Torres Strait Pilot newspaper, his trade being that of a compositor. If anyone has any information or needs any assistance, please -email me.
