hello I'm Robert My Grandfather Sydney James Davies was Born July 1892 in the Parish of Llanhamlach (near Brecon) in the Brecknock Administative region. Died 28/May/1968 Birmingham UK. He married Miriam Jones (reg March 1908) born in Cwmaman 27/Dec/1891 died Birmingham UK 30/Nov/1974 Birmingham UK. They lived in Aberdare before moving to Birmingham in 1930's. My Grandfather's Mother's maiden name was Havard, , Grandan had only 1 sister . Granny however was one of 12 children, the only names I recall are Beat (Beatrice ?), Nan and William. I believe one of Grans sisters emigrated to Canada, and I was told Grandad had a cousin who had emigrated to USA and visited UK when he researched the family tree. This is all the info I have at the moment and would appreciate further information. |
