Member Since: September 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	ISLE OF WIGHT I have traced my ggrandfather back to the I O W and was wndering if anyone had any further information on him and his family as I can't eben find a GRO number for him. He was William DAWSON C1856 and he had a brother called Samuel C1854. Their father was John Dawson c1824 a butcher. I have traced my ggranfather in the 1871 and 1881 census. He was with his father in 1871 and in 1881 he was working for his 'Uncle' at the Marine Hotel in Cowes for a James Drove. Any info would be fanastic. Thanks
