Henry Dimmock I am trying to find a Henry Dimmock (born circa 1715). He married a woman named Mary (born circa 1715). By 1735 they were living in Chinnor, Oxford where they appear to have had 3 children (Mary born 1735, Jane or Jana born 1737 and John born 1744). John Dimmock married an Elizabeth Smith. Henry Dimmock died in Chinnor, Oxford in 1779 and by 1811, John Dimmock's branch of the family were living in Watlington, Oxford. Henry Dimmock and Mary may have been born and married in Oxford, however, Chinnor is very close to the Buckinghamshire border. I have not been able to trace their line any furher back, so any information would be gratefully received!. Joanna Dimmock |
