Trying to find Dolphin

I am researching the Dolphin family but despite sending for various birth certificates I have been unable to trace William Henry Dolphin. William Henry Dolphin was born c 1855 (census entries place him as early as 1852 and as late as 1858). William married Helen (Ellen) Maiden on 3.5.1885 at Birmingham and he was then living at 176 Broad Street occupation a groom. William and Helen had three children, Helen May 1889, Lizzie Johanna 1886, and Wilfred 4/4/1900. On his son’s marriage in 1922 William was deceased and former occupation given as coachman. William appears to have been born in Church Stretton. On William’s marriage certificate his Father’s name is given as John and John was also a groom. If anyone can help fill in any gaps I would be very grateful. Thank you. |
