I would like to contact any descendants of William and Annie Duff. In 1891 they lived at 18 Taylor Street, St Rollox, Glasgow. William was born in Dingwall, Ross shire. Although they are not related directly to me, they "adopted" my Great Grandfather Richard Cooksley Bruce. Richard's mother Williamina Bruce was unmarried and lived close to or with The Duff family. My mother met a member of the Duff family, RAE. in the early 1960's who rembered going to the Lusset Glen in Old Kilpatrick, to see her "funny wee uncle Dick". If Rae or any of her family see this and know any of the story of my Great Grandfather I would appreciate hearing from them. Thanks. I am Robert Bruce Stuart, My mother is Jean Bruce. |
