I am trying to trace the tree of my grandmother Eliza Ann EDGE from her death cert I have her birth as 04-06-1904, and her death as 17-08-1981 from her marriage cert - she married my grandad Joseph Berrisford on 11-04-1925, her father was named as HARRY EDGE. My gran never spoke of, or spoke to, her family, but my mother can remember she had a brother William and a sister Kate (there were probably other siblings). They came from Longton in Staffordshire. From this I have found a possible match of HARRY born Jul, Aug, Sept 1876, married April, May, June 1900, and from the 1901 census aged 24 and was living in Eversley Rd, Longton, S-O-T. with his wife ISABELLA aged 22 and their young son WILLIAM aged 9 months. If anyone has any info on a name for Harrys dad or anything relating to Isabella (name or family) I would be very very grateful.

Hi Lynne,
Ive noticed that earlier in the year you were trying to trace your Grandmother's family.

I'm not sure whether or not this will be of any use to you but my Grandmother (Flora Edge, b.1880) had a brother who was named Harry (Ive got the date of birth as 1877, whereas your date was 1876). I'm afraid I don't know whether this was the same Harry but they did live in Longton in Staffordshire.

I don't know any more about 'my' Harry but I'll see if I can do a bit more digging and see if there is a connection.
