Member Since: January 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	Hi Holly I am an Evitt and my grandfather was born in Brixton in 1880, my father in Surry in 1914. I have many Evitt ancestors who came from the Brixton and Camberwell areas and as far out as Kingston. I have seen the branch in Glasgow on the web but can't find a link. We are the same tribe as the Evitts in the Bradford/Leeds area, as my Great Grandfather took my Grandfather and the rest of the family up there to stay with a relative when his father lost all his money! They subsequently came back to the London area, once he had established himself as a photographer in the 1890s. I have not been able to estblish the link to any of the northern branch and assume they must have been cousins at some level. Any chance your Evits and mine are related in a way that can be connected? There are so few of us I assume that we are all related somehow, anyway!
