Trying to find desecendants of August Fahse & Maria nee Marteus. they had at least five sons Willhem,August,Carl,Frederick, & Gottlieb.the family were german but Gottlieb , sometimes known as Max or Albert ,was born in Bradford Yorkshire in 1889. In 1891 th e family were living in Limehouse.& in 1901 in Charlton S.E London.. CARL & FREDERICK anglicied their name to Fasey & were in the Army in the late 1890,s to 1904. Carl called himself CHARLES Fasey & married MARTHA HELLMUTH in Woolwich Reg Office in 1904 & FREDERICK married EMMA Dartnell in 1904 also. MARIA FAHSE died in 1907 aged 61 & at the time of her death she & AUGUST were living with Charles & Martha at 61 Cedar Grove Charlton SE London. Charles died in 1910 & Frederick died in 1911.Frederick was my grandfather so know his family details, but would like to find the families of Charles(Carl) & the other 3 brothers. Charles had a daughter Gertrude Violet Herta Fasey b.oct 1909 @ 55 Floyd Rd Charlton. & a boy George who died Oct 1911 aged 3 months , another son Charles Frederick J was born 1907, As the family didnt take naturlization am unable to say where in Germany they originated from, AUGUST senior was a Carpenter. Any Info, or contact from Charles,s family would be great |
