Jennifer Stevens( nee Farrell) wishes to find relations from the Farrell family who lived in Bow, East London. My grand father William (Bill) & my father John William had a marine store shop in Roman Rd.,commonly known as a Rag & Bone shop. My grandmother was Clara Sarah (nee Cane)& they had another son Leonard Thomas & a daughter Ellen (Nell) I believe my great grand father was Thomas O'Farrell from Ireland & he came to England & married an English girl & dropped the 'O' & had 2 sons William & Thomas. Also 5 daughters, Sue, Emmie, Lizzie, Sal & Florrie. Thomas had marine store shop in Cable St. Bethnal Green. Florrie lived in St Stephens Rd over a shop. Emmie lost her husband in the 1914 war. Had 2 girls,Nellie & Ivy. Sue married Wally Ballett. Had 2 girls Florrie & Nellie & 2 boys Wally & Billy. Sal married ? Delieu. Had 3 boys Bert, Sidney,Billy & 1 daughter Nellie. who died of Tb age about 14. Lived in Bethnal Green. Bert was a tailor & also ran a dance school with his wife Ivy. Would like to hear from anyone who may know some of the above mentioned.
