I am trying to trace the Fox family originally from Workington in Cumbria. They are believed to have been the owners of Foxs Steelworks of Stocksbridge near Sheffield. My grandmother was a nanny to the boys, Peter Daniel Highthorn Fox, Gerry Fox, Denis Eric Leyland Fox. Their parents were Eric and Margarita Fox. The boys were born either just prior to or during the first world war. They had property at the following places, Little Court, Bexhill. Cowslade, Winchfield. Newlands , Workington. Knowles Mead, Ardingley, Sussex. Newland, Tadworth, Surrey. |
