Hi, my name is Robin Horlin and I live in Western Australia. I am trying to trace any of my fathers relatives. His full name was Albert James Gardiner and was living in Essex, England. He was born on the 23/07/1903, and came to Australia aboard a ship when he was 21 years of age. I am not sure how many siblings were in his family, but I do know he had a sister Lizzie and another called Carry. He had a nephew called Harry I think his mother was Lizzy. Harry married a lady named Eileen, and they had 3 children.(maureen, and 2 sons) Harry, Eileen and the 2 eldest children emigrated to Aust. They returned to the U.K. some years later, where Eileen discovered she was pregnant. They once again returned to Aust but sadly Harry couldn't settle here and once again returned to the U.K. and Eileen remained here in Aust. with Maureen and one of the boys. Harry has sinced passed away. I am hoping that someone out there can recall this, and help me to trace any of my fathers' relatives. Fingers crossed. Robin |
