I am trying to trace any relatives of Thomas Henry Gates born 1900 West Derby, Liverpool. He had a younger brother Alfred and they spent most of their childhood in The Royal Liverpool Seamans Orphanage. Their mother was Ruth Wedgwood and father was also Thomas Henry. Thanks in advance from his grand-daughter.

I have some details of the family you are looking for:
Ruth Wedgwood b1877 in 36 Wellington Place, Toxteth Park. Baptised in Wavertree.She married Thomas Gates 10th October 1897.They had two sons Thmas Henry 1900 and Alfred born 1901.I have other Gates family relatives if you want them.I'm not directly related to Gates line but distant relative.
