I'm trying to find the parents of a william george born approx 1800.
He married an elizabeth thomas on 29 sept 1827,the witnesses were george stevens and JOHN GEORGE(who i'm hoping was his father or brother).
In 1841 he had a phillip george living with them(maybe a brother),and by 1851 elizabeth,his wife, was a widow.
The only real death i can find for a william george in redruth between 41-51 was Dec 6th 1847(age 66),but the age seems off to me,
anyway if anyone has any tips please let me know,
Alan.
PS I also cant seem to find the baptism for 2 of william & elizabeths kids,Jane and James.

nothing on opc but i looked on IGI and found a philip george and william with the same parents in Redruth.
Philip's witnesses were, G.F stevens, and John Philips.I'm wondering if GF stevens and george stevens are one and the same?
Probably some-one to do with the church.
