Looking for Goggins From Ireland. I have a Eleanor Goggin married to a Samuel Mason in 1801. This was in Passage West in Co Cork. witnesses at the marriage Thomas Croften, James Cronnin, Catherine O'Keffe. It is possible that that some of the Goggins came to England, as Samuel Mason and his son inlaw John Arrowsmith and John's sons were mariners and could have brought them across because of the famine or the clearances.John came from Newcastle upon Tyne and Samuel from Yarmouth but he died In North Shields at his daughter's in the 1850s
