Hi. I have connections to John Gorringe, born 1851 and his son George Henry, who married Ellen Knight in c 1899. They originate in Kent. Any help? Jackie

Hi Pauline, It's quite a while since you posted on this board - I hope you still check it. I can trace back to James GORRINGE c1803. He is on the 1851 census with his wife and 9 children - John, Samuel, Ann, Caroline, Mirium, Mary, Sarah, Soloman and James living in the Lewes/Ditchling area of Sussex. Children born @ Barcombe or Brighton. thank U
