My Great Grandparents were Edgar Green and Ethel Mabel GOULD. Born late 1880's, Edgar's occupation was a Carman, Ethel was a Housemaid. They married in June 1907 in TONBRIDGE, KENT. Prior to this I have no knowledge of where they came from but it is believed that either Edgar, or his father, had come over from IRELAND. My Grandfather Edgar Leslie was born in 1908. Other children include Katie Elizabeth, Victor and Agnes. Family moved to Norwich sometime between 1910 and 1920. Edgar died 1940 and Ethel in 1959 - both in Norwich. PLEASE - if anyone can shed light on their earlier history and families, I would be most grateful. Many thanks Robert. |
