I'm trying to find any relatives to my Grandfather Govan side of the family. He was born in Greenoch in 1875, his name was James Alexander Govan, he married my Grandmother in Barrow-in-Furness in 1902. He was a left-handed riveter in the Shipyard. He belong to the Cameron Clan. He died before I was born, he gave his body to medicine, so there is no grave or documentation. I was told by my mother, the above information before she died. He alledgly had a connection with a Solomon Govan, but as yet no leads.alledgedly his parents moved to Paisley I am hoping to find any relatives on the Scottish side of my family. Anyone with information - please contact me [email protected]. Many thanks |
