Lilly the flower Report 23 Mar 2005 21:31

I am looking for information about my grandmother, especially birth details, her name was Hannah Elizabeth Walker, born abt 1871, I do not know where, Ist husband Samuel Grant, married in 1900, in Christchurch, Dorset, Samuel died in the Boar War the same year. Second Marriage, this time using the name Elizabeth Hannah Grant formly Walker, she married same Church, same place, in 1903, James Chatten, My grandfather. Elizabeth as she was now called lived in Woolwich SE18 most of her life, and died in 1937. I have all of her life from 1900 to her death, but no information about her before 1900, all of the census have drawn blanks. even the 1901 census. her burial records show her son Robert as giving her name as Hannah Elizabeth. This is my brick wall of some five years, please help me knock it down, thank you.
