Trying to find Gray

I am trying to find my grandfather, Sidney Arthur Gray. He had 2 children, my father Sidney Charles born 6/11/1922 at 124 Hythe Road, Preston, Brighton and Adeline Violet born 14/06/1926 at 29 Melbourne Street, Brighton. Adeline was adopted at 6 weeks by a Salvation Army Couple named Clark(e) in Brighton. Adeline died 4 March 1945. I cannot find a marriage certificate of my grandparents. My grandmother was Ada nee Holmes who came from Norwich. She had previously been married (11/02/1918) to Bertie Sidney Eagle of Great Leighs, Essex. I do know that she moved from Brighton to Rochester, Kent and subsequently married Stuart Paul. I believe that my grandfather, Sidney Arthur, had a sister and a brother and that his father was in the Artillery. The only names I can come up with at present is from the 1901 census. There is a John Gray, his wife Beatrice, their daughter Beatrice and 2 sons Bertie and Sidney Arthur (is this my grandfather?). They lived in Dover and this is where my father said he used to visit his grandfather as a child. I hope from the information I have given that someone, somewhere is able to help me in this search. Sorry for the long information given but more information is perhaps better than a little. Christine
