Sorry posted this in the previous section but will post again: I am trying to find the forename of my great great grandfather Hallam and any extra info, all I know is that he was born in London and was a police sgt in the Siege of Sydney Street(Jan 1911) where he was shot throught the bowler hat, he later became Detective Inspector of London City Police and his daughter was Mabel Hallem who moved up from London to Grange-Over-Sands in Cumbria after splitting up with her husband Jack Woodham a Cpt in the Royal Horse Artillery were she retired and passed on. Mabel had two brothers - one called Henry who was an Attorneys Clerk and another brother called Arthur I think who lost a leg in th 1st World War and was mentioned in dispatches? Any Ideas? |
