Niece.Her Name is Winifred or Winnifrith, Hardy, also known as Winnie. She was born around the late 1890s - 1900s. She Married Walter Foot and they had 5 children. I would also be interested in anyone who is also related to Thomas Hardy themselves.

Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 9 Send Message	Hi Sharon, Well despite my name I have no connection to Thomas Hardy OM altho my family originate from Dorset. However a few years ago I was corresponding with a lady who is a recognised authority on the author and his family tree,Brenda Tunks. She is also the author of a book entitled "Whatever happened to the other Hardys?". Her research inevitably broadened to encompass a general Hardy database for Dorset as we may truly claim Clan status for that county. The last address I have for her is 21, Scarf Road, Poole, Dorset.BH17. Good luck.
