Hi Judith. You do not give any clue as to period of time. |

Hi Judith, I am trying to trace my paternal grandmother's family but all I have are word of mouth remembrances. She was Louisa Harford child of Daniel, in the Kingston on Thames area. Family memories say that she was related to Sir Anthony Quayle but that that branch of the family had South African roots!! Sir Anthony was born John Anthony Quayle in Lancashire , 1913, son of Arthur and Esther Overton, this is as far as I have got with this. Also, my brother says he believes my father and his parents were in India during the 1920's and that my grandmother returned to give birth to my aunt, Ann, again a connection with your previous reply. I hope this is of interest/use to you, Regards Sue |
