I am trying to find any info about my grandfather, Thomas Burgess Hargrave. He lived in Lambeth around 1910 when my father, Thomas Beresford Hargrave was born. |

Thank you for your suggestion. My father's birth certificate gives Thomas Burgess Hargrave as his father, his mother's name was Ellen Catherine Hargrave nee Ball. She was the widow of Frederick Hargrave with whom she had 5 children, it seems that my grandfather had the same surname as her deceased husband. I have searched under all the derivations of Hargrave that I can think of, and also under Thomas Burgess/Burgers. |
