Can anyone give me any information on my grand father CHARLES HENRY HARRIS (1898-1979). He was brought up in Old Bread Street off from Avon Street, Redcliffe, Bristol. His wife was also brought up (next door) in Old Bread Street and her name was LILIAN ROSE PUGH. They both married in Temple Church, Redcliffe, Bristol in 1920. His father was also CHARLES HENRY HARRIS (1875-1950) he worked as a trimmer on a couple of boats one being the Royal Albert. His father had a older brother called SAMUEL HARRIS who worked on the railway at Temple Meads Train Station, Bristol and two sisters (which I don't have their names). The two sisters ran a pub called The Rose & Crown or The Rose near Temple Street, Bristol Anyone with any information out there, please help. Thank you. |
