I am trying to locate the Birth Place of Harry Harvey born approx 1888. The family has connection in the Bexleyheath area and i think a relative of his was the landlord of the Crocklog Public House in that area. I have obtained his marriage certificate ( m 1915 to Minnie Homewood) and he lists his address as Prestwood which is near Great Missendon. He worked here as a chaffeur/gardener. He was in ww1 as a driver and the moved and died in Bexleyheath. I would either like some more info on this family. His fathers name was George and the witnesses on his marriage certificate were a William Barbut/Edgar James Harvey. If anyone knows the Prestwood area perhaps they know of a 'big house' that would have had servants in the 1900's? My grandmother Minnie also worked here and that was how she met Harry. Any leads would be gratefully received. Thanks Kathy |
