Hi
I'm trying to find a Herbert heslop, Who in 1928 lived at 3, South View, Clara Vale, Ryton, Co Durham, I can trace him to then, Thats where my trail goes cold, I cann't find a death cert or marriage cert for him, The reason i know he lived there is i have a court document with his name and address on for maintainance for my dad, as he was his illegitimate son, I checked the census and he was living with Edward and Mary heslop, I found their gravestone in Ryton Cemetery. Any help would be appreciated
Regards Betty

Directory enquiries only have two H. Heslop listed. if you log on to 192.com, you can obtain address and phone number for them both in the Co. Durham area. Good luck in your search.

Hi Betty, I have a Herbert Heslop in my tree, he was my grandfather. Could be the same person as he did live in Australia then went overseas again after my mums mother died. Do you know your Herberts parents? Is that the Edward and Mary he was living with?Good luck with your search. Regards Linda

Hi Linda,
I have just found this message on the notice board your first message came through the inbox,
On the 1928 census for Southview west, it has a Edward and Mary heslop living there at the time, Do you know when your grandfather lived in Australia?
Regards Betty
