I was Pamela Hipwood, daughter of Royston William Hipwood , he was from Gloucester and died in South Wales in 1946 after a mining accident. Any members of the Hipwood or Grundy families please contact me as I am trying to build a family tree.He married Marjorie Doreen Wilkinson from Bargoed , South Wales in 1940 . I also have one brother Robert Hipwood . I remember Grandad Hipwood (Ben) visiting us once. He lived in Feltham Middlesex.

Hi Pamela ,
I have an ancestor on my mothers side WOMBWELL who married into the HIPWOOD family @ Gloucester . The fathers name was BENJAMIN HIPWOOD !! Could this possibly be your grandfather ?
