Hi i am looking for any information about my fathers side of the family he was a Hollingsworth his name was Bryan (1924). His father was George William (1886), George Married a Rose Hannah (Bennet) Fowler from Eastoft. Although they were from Scunthorpe The Hollingsworths may have originated from Gainsborough & could have lived in Grimsby for a time. His grandfather William Henry(circa 1860's) was born i believe in the Gainsborough area, and was like many of the time a farm labourer. As i have no surviving Hollingsworth relatives i am finding this quite difficult any help would be greatfully recieved. Robert Hollingsworth

My name is Joseph Hubert Hollingsworth. I am Canadian, born in Montreal. My father was from London. I have traced my lineage back to early 1600's all around the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. However, as a member of The Hollingsworth Project of Family Tree DNA I have found many exact matches in Lincolnshire. One Alec (recently deceased) was from Grimsby and one James (in North Dakota) was from Scunthorpe. We haven't yet found the link between the two areas. Contact me if you still have interest.
