Trying to trace any ancestors of Claude Daniel Hornsby (who at some time changed his name to last name to Mead) Claude born in 1879 died in 1953 (as a Mead) My uncles marriage certificate in 1934 shows Claude as a Hornsby, my fathers Baptism certificate in 1910 shows him as a Hornsby, but by his marriage in 1940 he was a Mead and so was Claude! Claude was married Dec 25th 1901 to Alice Elizabeth Shead in Church of St Paul Finsbury, his fathers name was James Daniel Hornsby. If anyone can help solve the mystery of the name change or give links to Claudes relatives I would be grateful. Thank you
