Searching for origins of Thomas James Howard born in Staffordshire circa-1825. Arrived Melbourne, Australia, about 1850 presumably with wife Mary and worked in Lands Dept. under Gov. Latrobe. Later he married ? Esther Nickson Wood, also from Staffordshire, and they had William-1853 Collingwood, Charlotte-1854 Collingwood, Annie-1856 Sandhurst, Maria-1863 Sandhurst, Thomas James-1866 Sandhurst. I have been unable to find roots in Staffordshire and any help would be much appreciated. Heather |
