Howes . Desperately seeking any information on my father John Alfred Howes. (born around 1945). I beleive he had a sister Annette. He married my mum, Marcia Pomery, in the 60's. They had 7 children. Divorced before I was born in 1971. Lived in the sydney area and was last heard of in the newcastle/maitland area. Beleived to have a daughter by the name of Naomi. I know very little about my father and the rest of his family. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Corina Jodie Howes.

Hi Corina,
We are not sure if we can help - but possibly can
We do not know very much about other sections of the family. My husbands father was Rupert Howes and he had several brothers and one sister. Perhaps John Alfred Howes could be the son of one of his brothers. There was a Norman Howes who lived in Minto. We have contact details for members of his family Lindsay and Marilyn Howes. My husbands grandparents were William and Margaret Howes (nee Murphy) William was born in England and Margaret in Bundarra NSW
