Hi, I've hit a brick wall and I'm hoping someone may be able to help. I've got a Philip Hoyt/e born Abt 1845 in Cornwall. Parents not confirmed, can't find any shipping record on what ship he arrived in Australia on, not on any Australian census that I can locate and lived in the Glen Innes/Inverell area in the late 1800's. Had 3 illegitimate children between 1884-91. His 'supposed' wife took on his name for the sake of the children. The only Philip Hoyte that died in NSW was in Moss Vale in 1932. Contacted local FHG without any success. Has anyone got any suggestions??
