Am attempting to fully identify Joseph Hutchinson, b 1849 in Stanhope, Durham and his entire family. He married Isabella CALVERT, b 1853 in St. John's Chapel, Durham, in Sept 1876. Recorded in Dist. Of Guisbro, County of North Riding of Yorkshire. Son Calvert, b 1876 in Redcar. Son Herbert, b 1879 in Eaglescliff (Stockton-on-Tees). In 1881 family lived in Middlesbrough, York, where Joseph was employed as Coal Agent. Daughters Edith Mary and Ethel Annie also born in that vicinity. Joseph and immediate family emigrated to U.S. in 1883. Joseph was son of John & Sarah. Had 4 brothers: Thomas, Robert, Jack, William and 1 sister: Elizabeth. No other information is known about his family. We assume they probably resided in the Durham county area. Any assistance provided in identifying this particular Hutchinson family, its relatives, and descendants would be very much appreciated. |
