I am looking for any relative who is related to a Samuel George Hyland, he was a fisherman, his nickname was (noggy Hyland), he is mentioned in the book the fishermen of Hastings by Steve peak. He was the manager of the fishermans institution in All saints street for years, he use to do the soup kitchens with his sister Sarah Hilder. He married a mary Cook on 16th February 1890 in All Saints Church Hastings, they had a son called Charles Samuel larke born 1895 in All Saints, Charles married a Marie Irene ? I can't find there marriage, I know he remarried in 1978 to his cousin Edward's wife Rosa Adelaide louisa Hilder, Charles died in 1991 age 96 in St helens Hospital Ore, Charles has a son called Stanley Charles Hyland, I come from Samuel's Brother James born 1868, he was my Great Grandfather. Charles is cremated with his 2 wife's on his Parents Grave in Hastings Cemetery. I hope some one can help. |
