Pat

Sorry, I thought you were trying to trace Lily as well.

If you were to buy the death certificate of Jack Stanford Hall, it would tell you who registered his death - maybe your husband has family on his father's side.

It would be very kind of you if you could find the time to look for a grave it would be a line drawn and also somewhere that maybe some time in the near future John and I could visit.
We have just found Lily Mays step-brother in Wales and we are going to visit him on the 6th March and hopefully find more imformation.
We live in Lancashire

thanks again

Its not nice to find a death record but at least you know now. I live not far from Chichester, would it help if I tried to find out where he was buried? It may be an idea to buy the death certificate to be 100% sure?

I did not find a death of Lily M Hall, maybe she is still alive? Have you looked on www.192.com?

Thank you very much Sue. My husband has been searching for him for many years, but always seemed to hit a brick wall. He is 67yrs old himself so now he knows it will put his mind at rest. He never actually met him but he has always wondered what might have been.

thank you for your time

Pat
