my mum lost all our birth certs but their is 1 that is very hard to find i am trying to suprise her by getting them replaced but their is 1 that is really hard to find and that is i had an older sister who died age 6 wks do they do births and death certs for babys as i cant find her anywhere all i know is her name was hayley louise jackson born newcastle upon tyne c.oct-nov 1980 and she died in sunderland december 1980 but their is nothing at all for her is their any detectives who can help with this delemma thank you

how did you do it ive been on 2 wks and some kind person from g.r has tried and their was nothing you are good really really good

Hi Carol,
I quickly scanned the indexes on Ancestry .Hayley Louise Jackson(mothers maiden name also Jackson) was registered in qtr,O/N.D 1980 in district 2 vol. 0493 Newcastle Upon Tyne
Her death was registered in qtr,O/N/D 1980 district 2 vol. 2003 Sunderland. Her birth date was given as 31 October 1980
If you take a look for yourself the death indexes are in the wrong order . ie oct/nov/dec are actually under july/aug/sept
