Hi 'out there,Im trying to trace anyone who may be related to my family. My fathers name was FREDERICK JAMES JARRATT and was born in the WINDSOR/SLOUGH area on 8th.September,1920,his fathers name was JOHN and his mother was known as 'QUEENIE' her maiden name may have been ELMS. My father had brothers called GEORGE,VICTOR,JACK&LIONEL he also had sisters named BERYL,IVY,JOAN.My father moved to Scotland around 1945/46 when he married my mother JANE(FAGAN). I would also be interested in any information on the name ELMS.Here's hoping there is a family member out there who can help.P.S. My father unfortunately passed away in 1999.

Hi Colin

Hope I can help. My dad was Jack and I have just recently started to trace the tree. Our grandmother was Annie Elmes. She was born in Chelsea and came to Windsor to live with an aunt and uncle. This was his first wife who he left and it caused quite a stir and most of the family didnt speak to John afterwards. I only met him just before he died.

We have met years ago when i used to come and stay with your mum and dad in the school hoildays. It would be great to catch up.

Hope this is of use.
