Find Ancestors

Hi, I am an adopted person I am trying to find my Natural Parents who where both born in Dublin and returned to Ireland after they gave me up for adoption in Australia. I was born 1st of December 1972 in Sydney Australia.

My Mothers name was Theresa (Rita) Evelyn Kelly Born 1st of November 1947, Dublin and was last address in Summerhill Dublin. She had 4 Brothers and 3 Sisters and was second eldest. She was second eldest. Her Mother was Agnes Kelly (nee McDermott) and her father was Patrick Kelly.

My Fathers name is John Patrick Roche he was born Feb. 7th 1947 in Dublin. His Father was Thomas Philip Roche and his mother was Olwen Mary Roche (nee Griffith). They lived at Yellow Rd. Whitehall in 1947. My Fathers Birth Certificate is registration #5827358. He was the eldest of three children. his mother passed away giving birth to his sister when he was around 10.

They were both in Australia between 1970 and 1973 at least. I am not sure if they married each other or are even still alive. I am desperate to find them and any..any help that anyone could give me would be appreciated.

I'm in Australia and know only too well that people come and go and come back again... BUT just in case your father returned to Australia he may well be on the Australian Electoral Register.
You can access the Electoral Roll at any State Electoral Commission Office. There is a public access computer at every office so you can search for ALL States and Territories. I often go in to do searches for the 'Poms' who are searching for rellies.
