Trying to find laurie

Still trying to find info re Fred Horace Laurie born circa 1858 do not know where as all efforts to trace have failed. It is his early life I wish to know, he was thought to have lived in the East End, his father was Charles James Laurie, he worked preparing coaches & horses for hire. I do not know who his mother was or if he had any siblings. He was my grandfather, a regular soldier & I know all his later history, this is a real 'brick wall' BRN
